Grant time approaching for Jefferson County nonprofits

Since the Greater Jefferson County was founded in 1975, the Grant Committee has been kept busy each year in receiving new charitable donations to the general grant fund and specific donations to focused grants.

The foundation offers over 35 years of experienced service and growth to the Jefferson County community by awarding grants to many community nonprofit organizations.

Grant totals are 1999-2010: $870,719; 2011: $139.232; 2012: $93,047; 2013: $126,082; 2014: $137,014; 2015: $136,545; 2016: $140,215; 2017: $113,000; and 2018:$177,128.

Donations to the Greater Jefferson County Foundation is a permanent investment in the community.
