Youth can try stand up paddleboarding during clinics planned Thursday.
The two 1.5 hour long clinc sessions are offered at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Todd Robertson with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources will be sharing skills, stories, and tricks about stand up paddleboarding.
Each session will open with directions from a certified instructor with the Iowa DNR, then participants will be able to put their skills to the test on the water.
Each session is limited to 10 participants who are entering fifth- through ninth-grades. Participants younger than 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.
