FFA makes blankets for kids

Members of Fairfield’s FFA Chapter donated 10 blankets they made for kids to Jefferson County Health Center’s Emergency Department. JCHC Community Relations Manager Wanda Bagby said, “The blankets help to give our sick kids some ‘security’ while being treated and transferred. Also, some kids come in with nothing due to the emergent need of getting to the ER, so this serves two purposes: warmth and comfort.” JCHC Education Manager/Assistant Out-Patient Director Staci Worley, center, receives the blankets from FFA members, from left, Hannah Clubb, Sophie Mineart, Austin Adkison and Jacob Scotton.
