Former Van Buren coach to enter guilty plea

KEOSAUQUA – Former Van Buren Community School District wrestling coach Bradley Goehring has informed the court he wishes to submit a plea of guilty in connection to a case in which he has been charged with sending obscene materials to a minor.

Goehring, 27, Keosauqua, was arrested in March and charged with sending obscene Snap Chat messages and a picture to a minor/juvenile Van Buren County student. Goehring was later fired from the district.

Goehring pleaded not guilty to the charges in April.

The court record does not indicate what exactly Goehring plans to plead guilty to. His next court date is June 21 in the Van Buren County Courthouse.
