The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

Thursday

7:19 a.m. — A road closure was reported on Clearwood Avenue between 255th and 265th.

8:02 a.m. — A fire was reported in O.B. Nelson Park.

8:04 a., m. — A burglary alarm was reported in the 100 block of North Court.

8:31 a.m. — Police were on standby for a domestic disturbance in the 1600 block of Southview Circle.

9:17 a.m. — Police were asked to check on the welfare of a person in the 300 block of East Jefferson.

10 a.m. — An animal concern was reported in the 700 block of West Hempstead.

11:28 a.m. — An animal concern was reported in the 2100 block of Key.

11:30 a.m. — A domestic disturbance was reported in the 200 block of East Buchanan.

11:36 a.m. — Police investigated burglary/breaking and entering in the 600 block of South Fifth.

11:51 a.m. — A minor in possession of vape was reported in the 600 block of East Broadway.

1:28 p.m. — A person reported the corner of a building in the 50 block of East Broadway fell on top of the hood of her car Wednesday.

2:10 p.m. — Thomas Helmick, 53, Fairfield, was arrested in the 200 block of North 28th on a warrant for failure to appear for probation revocation.

2:43 p.m. — Austin Wilson was arrested in the 800 block of South Ninth on a warrant.

3:08 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 300 block of South 14th.

3:45 p.m. — Police investigated fraud in the 1000 block of North Fourth.

4:24 p.m. — A search was conducted in the 300 block of South 14th.

5:23 p.m. — Fraudulent use of credit was reported in the 100 block of South 17th.

5:37 p.m. — Extra patrol was reported in the 500 block of West Hempstead.

9:37 p.m. — Police assisted a motorist in the 500 block of North Second.
