The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

FRIDAY

7:11 a.m. — Police assisted the Mt. Pleasant Police Department.

8:27 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued in the 600 block of West Jackson for a “slow-and-go” at Seventh and Jefferson.

9:16 a.m. — Police investigated theft in the 2000 block of West Burlington.

2:22 p.m. — A written warning was issued at Main and Iowa for expired plates.

2:28 p.m. — An animal concern was reported in the alley between Fifth and Sixth streets on Depot Avenue.

2:39 p.m. — Police investigated theft in the 2700 block of West Burlington. At 2:58 p.m., Audrey Katherine Kay Savage, 27, of Brighton, was arrested and charged with fifth-degree theft and possession of marijuana.

3:06 p.m. — A parking concern was reported in the 100 block of West Adams.

3:15 p.m. — Larceny theft was reported in the 500 block of North Fourth.

5:23 p.m. — A citizen asked police to check on the welfare of a person in the 800 block of West Burlington.

7:40 p.m. — Police assisted a motorist at Fourth and Dr. Robert Keith Wallace Drive.

9:19 p.m. — Jacky LeRoy Cook Jr., 60, of Fairfield, was cited at Fourth and Hempstead for driving while suspended, revoked, canceled or denied.

9:26 p.m. — A disturbance was reported at Fifth and Tyler.

10:42 p.m. — A written warning was issued at 16th and Burlington for failure to register vehicle and no insurance. The vehicle was stopped for a brake light outage.

10:58 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued in the 2200 block of US 34 for a traffic violation.

SATURDAY

12:33 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 300 block of East Hempstead.

3:27 a.m. — A citizen asked police to check on the welfare of a person in the 700 block of West Burlington.

8:24 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Sixth and Jackson for a traffic violation.

8:25 a.m. — Larceny theft was reported in the 100 block of West Broadway. Two pairs of boots were stolen from the hallway.

8:42 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued at D and Washington for a traffic violation.

9:25 a.m. — Police assisted the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.

9:54 a.m. — A citizen requested a welfare check.

10:32 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Fourth and Washington for a stop light violation at Second and Burlington.

10:41 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued in the 600 block of West Burlington for a traffic light violation at Second and Burlington.

11:54 a.m. — Harassment was reported in the 300 block of South D.

12:36 p.m. — A citizen requested a welfare check on a person in the 200 block of East Hempstead.

2:09 p.m. — A business alarm sounded in the 300 block of South 20th.

2:32 p.m. — Loud music was reported in the 400 block of South 15th.

3:48 p.m. — Police investigated shoplifting in the 2700 block of West Burlington. At 4:32 p.m., Carlos Alberto Leon, 25, of Ottumwa, was arrested at Highway 34 and Packwood Road and charged with third-degree theft.

5:01 p.m. — A citizen asked for family assistance in the 300 block of West Adams Avenue.
