POLICE REPORT: Tuesday, June 18, 2019

The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

Sunday

2:40 a.m. — Police investigated drugs-narcotic violation and other offenses at F and Lowe. At 2:48 a.m., Shannon Marie Johnson, 41, of Fairfield, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and disorderly conduct.

3:15 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported at D and Washington.

3:33 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued at 12th and Burlington for a traffic violation.

8:53 a.m. — Police provided assistance at Jefferson County Jail.

9:21 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued at D and Briggs for a driver-side brake light outage.

9:52 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued at 16th and Grimes for a cracked windshield and a burned out passenger-side brake light.

10:30 a.m. — Police investigated destruction/damage/vandalism of property in the 400 block of North F.

11:29 a.m. — A vehicle was stopped at B and Silver Lakes for an expired registration sticker. The registration was found to be current, but the proper sticker not yet applied. A verbal warning was issued to apply the proper sticker.

2:42 p.m. — A municipal infraction citation was issued at Fourth and Adams for failure to obey a stop sign at the Seventh and Jefferson intersection.

3:11 p.m. — Theft was reported in the 2100 block of Libertyville Road.

4:51 p.m. — Police were asked to check on the welfare of a person in the 400 block of North Third.

5:50 p.m. — Trespassing was reported in the 2000 block of South Main.

5:56 p.m. — Loud music was reported in the 300 block of Wilson.

6:10 p.m. — Police assisted the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office in the Round Prairie Park camping area.

6:28 p.m. — An animal concern was reported in the 1100 block of West Broadway.

7:34 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued in the 1300 block of West Burlington for a traffic violation.

8:42 p.m. — Police assisted the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office in the 200 block of North B in Packwood.

10:32 p.m. — Intoxication was reported on the Fairfield square.

10:41 p.m. — Police advised subjects of the park hours at Howard Park.

10:44 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Court and Briggs for a traffic violation.

11:06 p.m. — Police were asked to check on the welfare of a person in the 2700 block of West Burlington.

11:07 p.m. — A missing person was reported in the 900 block of West Jefferson.

11:24 p.m. — Police advised subjects about park hours at O.B. Nelson Park.

Monday

7:04 a.m. — Police stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of South Fourth for traffic violations.

9:28 a.m. — Fraud was reported in the 600 block of West Monroe.

9:42 a.m. — A traffic accident was reported in the 1600 block of West Burlington.

11:24 a.m. — A parking complaint was reported in the 1400/1500 block of Dogwood Drive.

Noon — An animal concern was reported on South Second.

1:19 p.m. — Police were asked to check on the welfare of a person in the 1500 block of Maple.

2:06 p.m. — A parking complaint was reported in the east/west alley at Kirkwood and Third.

2:49 p.m. — Police assisted Department of Human Services in the 700 block of East Burlington.

3:55 p.m. — A traffic accident was reported in a parking lot in the 2700 block of West Burlington.

4:14 p.m. — A dog at large was reported at Grimes and Ninth.

4:25 p.m. — Trespassing was reported in the 50 block of West Broadway.

5:21 p.m. — Police stopped a vehicle in the alley of the 100 block of North B.

6:01 p.m. — A domestic disturbance was reported at Seventh and Libertyville. Everything was OK.

6:20 p.m. — An animal concern was reported at B and Zimmerman.

6:20 p.m. — Terrance Taft, 36, of Lockridge was arrested at the Jefferson County Law Center on active warrants.

7:51 p.m. — Police assisted the Department of Human Services in the 300 block of East Lowe.

8:12 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at 12th and Adams for no plates.

8:26 p.m. — Police were asked to check on the welfare of a person in the 1900 block of West Burlington.

Tuesday

12:31 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

1:50 a.m. — A utilities hazard was reported in the 800 block of West Jackson.
