Thoughts from Emilee Linder

On the game

“Going to Solon over break and playing three bigger class teams really helped us after having a whole week off with no live action. I think we played good as a team tonight and passed the ball around well.”

“We work a lot with all the girls in practice and we have a really great junior varsity team and they keep us motivated in practice and play really good defense to prepare us for a lot of other teams. We have a lot of depth and that keeps us going for better teams like Mediapolis and Highland because we need to get those wins, too.”

Team chemistry

“We have a really great group of girls this year and when we aren’t at practice we have some pretty fun studying sessions. Every single person gets along on our team and there is no drama which really helps us play together.”

Confidence level?

“We’re pretty confident we just need to get those wins against Highland and MePo and get our revenge there. (The Panthers two losses are to Highland and MePo.) I know Davis has a lot of confidence in us in practice and wants to see us do well and our goal is always to make it to state.”
